Owl Brooches

In Ancient Greece, the owl was a symbol of a higher wisdom, and it was also a guardian of the Acropolis.

I just love owls, they are so timeless.  I have 3 different owl brooches available.  The newest one is the black and white owl surrounded by a circle of rhinestones.  

New Flower Brooch

A new brooch in my shop kept reminding me of something, then I knew what it was.  It reminded me of a Picasso painting I had seen before.  I personally have loved the Impressionist era of art since I was a teenager.  One brooch is available in my shop

Art Deco Earrings

I have always loved the fashion of the 1920's and 30's.  Art Deco is what they called some of it.  There are a few pairs of earrings my shop that reflect this era and are not only timeless, but classic.

What exactly is Art Deco?  

Art Deco also called style moderne movement in the decorative arts and architecture that originated in the 1920s and developed into a major style in western Europe and the United States during the 1930s. Its name was derived from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, held in Paris in 1925, where the style was first exhibited. Art Deco design represented modernism turned into fashion. Its products included both individually crafted luxury items and mass-produced wares, but, in either case, the intention was to create a sleek and antitraditional elegance that symbolized wealth and sophistication.

Not only did they reflect this movement in architecture, but they made it into the beautiful style of jewelry.  These are available in my shop and are as fashionable today, as they were years ago.

There's something about these wonderful bird brooches that just drew me to them. They're so unique and different.  Now available in my shop in 1 of each color.  They're size is 4x4cm.  They would look great for dressing up or down.

New Sewing Machine Brooches Added in Shop

These are so cute!  Until now I have only had the black sewing machine brooch in my shop, but now we have added some new colors.  We now have a blue and a red one available for purchase.

I get excited when I see things I have for sale in fashion according to articles I come across on the internet.  I try to pick things out that are fun and exciting and also things that are sophisticated. Variety is the spice of life, and I add that to my shop.
